Whisky lover's news! Two openings for our J.U.D.G.E.S. Whisky Club are now available. The club is capped at 50 members, and 47 have already attained lifetime membership.
Join us for live music featuring the host of weekly Annapolis Songwriters Showcase, singer and songwriter, Alex G. Lee. Alex will perform his original music on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 8:30 pm - 11:00 pm. There is no cover charge, but one drink per hour is requested, please.

Mike Grasso's band leads improvisations of jazz standards and welcomes all musicians, singers, and lovers of jazz to join in. There is no cover charge, but one drink per hour is requested, please.
Irish Music on the 2nd Floor - Second Wednesdays of the month
Come listen to an Irish music group play from 7pm - 9pm on the second floor. They welcome all listeners who support the Judge's Bench, to enjoy their food and drinks on the second floor if room is available. (It can get crowded.)

During the 1800’s in historic Ellicott City, a small stone building at the corner parking lot on Main Street and Ellicott Mills Drive was the original Howard County Courthouse. It was destroyed in the 2018 flood. Our building was a small “mom and pop” grocery store. Without air conditioning in those days, the heat-exhausted judges would come across the street and sit on shaded benches outside the grocery store and enjoy cold beverages. This is how our location became known as “The Judge’s Bench.”
